ideas for black rims on VO 1M ?

Hi all,

I'm wondering what a Valencia Orange 1M would look like, with dark or black rims.

(ofcourse also with black front grill, black window sills, and tinted windows)

Anyone idea's (links) for rims that would look good ?
For the photoshop gifted people among us: maybe even a render ?

Thanks !

I think a Titanium (or gunmental) finish would look better than outright black on an orange car.

Here are 2 shades of orange on an Audi car (Papaya Orange and Glut Orange), the titanium finish is class IMO.

I think any darker color will look good. Gun metal, matte black, gloss black, dark bronze color perhaps.

Just don't wash them. The brake dust will turn them that color anyway

I was interested in the 1M for a while but then ordered a different car.

Anyhow, here is one of my black-wheel doodles...

Nice pics,thanks... That gives an impression indeed.

Seeing these pictures, I think a gunmetal finish would look best, as ///M1 mentioned.

How about this one ? Design looks pretty close to original design, it has the gunmetal paint, and it even has a reddish/orange detail that might fit the VO ?

The rim design is good, but the red stripe is not. It's red and red and orange is a big no-go

To me, this company makes some of the sexiest wheels on the market, and they are highly customizable as far as sizing/offset, color, etc. Browse through and pic your favorite one:

I think the a slammedd 1 ///M with dark deep concave wheels will look MONEY!

NICE! I'm not a fan of dark wheels but this color almost demands it.

I don't get it. I'll just have the 19" BBS wheels that the car comes with painted black. The 18" wheels I have for the M3s winter tires will stay silver for the semis. Hmmm... but looking at the orange car with black wheels... maybe I should take VO instead of black?

Nice one!!
I'm definitely not a fan of blacks either but together with that VO, it looks way more like "racing". Just be sure to order the black window outlines and get black kidneys!

btw: Why the heck does the detroit model have a chrome outline at the front and black at the side windows? Never saw that with european models, that looks more or less terrible??!

But I definitely keep the paint job for the rims in my mind. Since the rims were especially mentioned in the "weight loss programm", don't you think they're pretty good in terms of weight? Just because we talk about replacing them with black ones, instead of painting them?

Edit:
Just rehacked your hack and darkened the kidneys and front window outline
