I received the CF Diffuser and my overall impression is that it's ok. Looks good from far away. However, up close, you can see in some areas that the weave was pulled a bit much. V8Beatr review on the diffuser was spot on. The splitters cf weave from bogarts pics, look so much better.
I removed the mesh and I'm painting them now...I'll try to have it on the car by tonight. Nick Oh and sorry for the bad cell photo...no clue how to resize, edit, etc. ***update. I finished painting and installed mesh... Last edited by NKatsim; 06-27-2011 at 05:40 PM.. |

^^ Don't worry if it makes you feel better my icarbon diffuser has stretched CF weaves too and it cost more then double.. I think unless you pay big bucks for the bmw perf one which may not be perfect either your not going to get perfection.
Can't wait to see it on your BSM thou.. with black mesh of course haha |

Thanks fellas...definitely looks better with the black mesh. After looking at the pics, I had to go out and fix the mesh and even it out.

^^ ahh.. I see I see haha.. I guess this just shows the whole car.. but can't wait to see your car with some nice rims.. will look pretty nice I think.. cause stock with any type of cosmetic mod won't look that good.. but once the car is slammed with some nice rims it will look great.. I'll be following your threads

I'll definitely be willing to help out with the suspension since I plan on going the exact same route (V2s, M3 suspension goodies, camber plates)... I'll be back this weekend as well as the next one for a wedding, so we pick a day and I'll make sure I'm free.

Good eye! I used a flat black paint...i ordered some black mesh on ebay just in case. Hopefully, it will be a bit stronger and not as soft as the one from Scopione.
Just a thought, I was looking at the iCarbon mesh today and it almost seems like it is painted gloss black, and it appears darker than the mesh in your photos. Did you use gloss or matte black paint? |
