Anyone install the new aFe CAI?

Says for 335i, should be able to fit the 135i me thinks.

Producing 14 max horsepower and 27 lbs. x ft. torque, this radically different Stage 2 sealed cold air intake system is engineered to let maximum air in while keeping engine heat out. Featuring two uniquely shaped molded intake ducts that replaces the single stock intake tract, this intake system smoothly directs increased air flow from two direction for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance. So effective is the design that Intake Air Temperature (IAT) at normal running speeds with this aFe intake system is 11 degrees lower than the factory intake. Complementing the dual intake tract are two Dynamic Air Scoops (D.A.S.) that, when mounted in the front grille, further directs air into the engine. Easily accessible with a satin black powdercoated aluminum cover, an washable/reusable conical air filter is enclosed in a molded plastic housing and mounted on a oval intake tube that smoothly supplies maximum air to the twin turbos. The full effect of this system cannot be felt or tested on stationary dyno and can only be fully appreciated on the wide open highway.

Looks awesome but only time will tell if the performance will live up to its claims. I love the BMS cones but would love a more "refined" look that achieves the BMS level performance

Yeah, looks well built, but at $1K makes the CF Dinan CAI look like a bargain! LOL

I don't think it will fit the 135i, it was specifically meant for the 335i's engine compartment.

This is not the one I am referring about. See the above link, it is not an open design like the DCI.

Just weird they have it listed for a 335i, didn't think it would be that different make it fit on a 135i.

Agree that Dinan is a better setup, and of course it looks nicer. Seems there is no closed CAI for under $1K, which is a shame...

It doesn't fit guys.

Our **********s 135i was the first car to test-fit the Sealed Air Intake setup for aFe. There are differences in dimensions and it was truly catered for the 335i.
