(E90) Official Arctic Metallic E90 Thread

Here are two shots I took at a dealership on a very sunny day. The car looks fantastic in the sun. I think that is the way it was meant to be seen. I am agonizing over what color to get. I love Arctic when it is this color but not so sure about it in the shade. I have yet to see it at night.

gsko I agree with you on that, it's the best shade when it's sort of a silverish/grayish/blue. Nice grab with your camera!

Arctic was my first choice. The car I test drove (3 times) was this color with beige. Very nice. Ended up with Alpine White (which I love) because there were no Arctics out there with the options I wanted. Look forward to seeing some on the road!

I just saw an e90 on the road today in the Arctic color. I thought it looked SUPER!! I am now torn between Alpine White & Arctic. Between these two colors there is no question that the Arctic is more interesting.

Those of you who have purchased the Arctic, are you happy that you went with the color?

Thanks Thavash, I have noticed the different shades depending in what light it is in. I think my mind is made up, I'm going with the Arctic. I think this color is so unique and classy.

I could not be happier with the choices I made for the colors on my car, both inside and out. Honestly, I have gotten compliments on the Arctic color from everybody who has seen the car. Check out some pictures...

I am glad that you are pleased with the decision you have made. I appreciate you sharing your pics. I am still struggling with Arctic or Alpine White? I have until October before I make my decision. Having said that, I have to say that the Arctic is really growing on me. For those of you that haven't seen the e90 live in this color you have to see it to believe it!

Has anyone seen the ellusive arctic paired with the unphotographable terra? I took some photoshop liberties with Dr. Sommer's TiAg/terra to get an idea what this combo would look like, but nothing beats seeing the real thing.

I don't think it looks too bad, but silver grey would be better if it were available, though. Any comments?
