Not a bad shot...
I just think u cropped it a lil to close to the car at the bottom... Show some more of that long grass.... And then its magic...

Yeah, I actually didn't crop the bottom...I wanted more grass but I couldn't get my shadow out of the picture...so then I tried backing up and using the zoom but I could only go so far and keep the focus since I wasn't using a tripod...this spot is close to where I live so I plan on going back when the sky has more color in it and giving it another go.

Couple of things homie:
1. Dont bisect the car with the pole...angle it so the car and the pole are in the frame at a pleasing angle. 2. If you have a DSLR or superzoom with manual, TV, AV function learn and use it. 3. Use this resource: http://www.digital-photography-schoo...-for-beginners Awesome website and I go there everyday to help improve my amateur skills (thats how I finally got the shot in my Signature, combination of the shot and adobe CS4 tutorials) I love how the sky and moon are in it...I think if you go back you will eventually get a real wallpaper money shot to go along with the money pit p.s. You are selling the 1er??? Say it aint so Joe!!!!!!!!! I thought about selling mine as well but torn over having a back seat.....

The pole is a HUGE distraction in the photo.. kinda splits the car into two. Next time try this, make the car / the pole next to each other instead of the pole being in the car
nice attempt tho
