are there VANOS recalls for the 1M?

from what I gather this is more of an N55 issue but has anyone had a recall for VANOS stuff on the 1M? I searched my VIN on the BMW site and didn't find any pending recalls on my car....just curious if it may happen in the future

Like Neil said and the fact the vanos are a slightly different construction design than the N54

I'm just as out of control on the 1M as I was on my M Coupe.

My 1M is extensively modified (JRZs, intake, downpipes, 4-pt cage, AP Racing brakes, RB turbos and much more) and is currently undergoing a single turbo conversion!

Happy to compare notes whenever and congrats on your 1M!
