I really appreciate all the great info from all posts, thanks so much!
Now that I have an idea of price...looking for anyone who may have direct experience with a particular shipper / company. I've heard some horror stories and I hope to avoid having to tell one myself. Any other people out there that have had good luck with a particular shipper? I'll be shipping it in April of 2016 (we were slightly delayed, but still on track to move)...

East to West costs much more than vice versa; figure around $1400+ to the shipping company plus any brokerage fees.
This industry is full of charlatan brokers who will send you multiple emails about how they have "trucks in your area" when in fact they don't own any trucks and are just brokers. The only honest guy I have found is Steve, who owns his own company that is BBB rated A+. Here is his email: carandtruckshippers@gmail.com I forget what his company is called, but it is something like "discount auto transport." |
