Aggsy's 125i
G'day guys,
I've been a long time (couple of years) lurker on these forums for a while but figured now that I am driving a bimmer I should get on here and introduce myself. I recently got rid of my 2008 350z which I owned for 2 years and picked up a 2010 125i from a family member. I've always loved the 125i and I was the one that originally picked it. To be honest, even though I have already made 2 mods I am not too sure how far I will go with it. I have been considering getting on the Evolved tune for it, but then think getting the performance exhaust instead....then there is always the want for new wheels! So where this car will end up, who really knows. Anyway here are a few pics of my first two mods and the other cars I have owned so far. Otherwise it is completely stock. A bit of a history on my cars: 2008 350z - only mods were a very poorly wrapped roof and interior carbon fibre wrapping 2006 Mitsubishi Evo 8 - Varis (copy) carbon fibre spliter, Kamui carbon fibre side spats, Rays G-Games 99b wheels, Toyo Proxes 4 tires, Tein SuperStreet coilovers, Whiteline rear sway bar, Carbing rear strut brace, HKS drop in foam filter, Ralliart B-pillars, Vortex generator, TurboXS front pipe, TurboXS test pipe, and a full leather interior (apparently was very rare here in Aus) 2003 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro - H&R Sport springs, Scorpion twin exhaust, BMC air filter, APR Stage 1 tune, Estatus wheels, Toyo Proxes 4 tires, Xenon's, tinted tail lights, OEM B7 RS4 rear sway bar And my first hand me down car when I got my licence - dark green 1994 Honda Accord VTI with gold badges and a bangin stereo! I do want the evolve tune but it's very hard to find dyno results to see if the gains are actually as big as Evolve say they are. Apparently someone here in Aus did a before and after dyno run but is afraid of putting up the results as they might get flamed for some reason.

Trying to figure out what the next mod should be...My wheels are kind of messed up and wondering if there are any other BMW wheels that would look good/fit. |

BMW wheels for the 1er are very limited by offsets. aftermarkets a better option. forum favourites are VMR/GTCs, apex's, alufelgens or advan rzs! |

So i've heard about bmw's wheels. Haven't really looked in to it too closely just yet. Always loved the v710's....im just too indecisive in what i want first...real issue!
I also wanted to get new headlights and get rid of the ugly halogens but the headlights I was looking to pick up apparently don't work with front parking sensors/they disable the front parking sensors....seems really strange to me....anyone heard of anything like this before? |
