I don't even allow poeple to wear street clothes in my car. Before anyone gets in, they need to go through an air chamber and put hospital robes. It's the sacrifice I have to make to keep my interior new.

The first thing I remove is the cigarette lighter in the console area, and then I stick one of those plastic signs that fits in the lighter area, it's a picture of a cigarette with a big red slash through it. Like the ones they have in rental cars....

I've smoked in my previous cars. Not in the E90. I am trying to quit, so the my 330xi is helping me. I knew I bought the car for a good reason. For now whenwever I crave a cig really bad, I pull into a 7-11 or shopping center parking lot and have one there outside of the car. HA!

I smoke a bit but have never smoked in any of my cars as it fouls up the interior. Although I enjoy smoking, I don't the smell of stale smoke.

I don't find the fact that some people choose to smoke in their cars in any way repulsive (even in 2006). It's a free world (sort of).
