What about words that use the number 3 instead of the letter 'e' like the BMW ad campaign... for e.g. fast3r etc etc. Is that bad??

I was thinking of going with a cryptic personalization; for example
45 39 30 = E90 3A 29 = 33 33 30 = 330 (The hex values of the characters) For my other car which I am bringing in from Illinois - I am thinking of keeping the same number - just on a california plate... I know I'm a nerd - so what... |

Wow I didnt think the response was going to be this negative about personal plates. I think I'm still going to go with getting the BENMW plate. I guess I think the other way than most people. Someone said "they are tacky"..but I think having 6349VE2 as a plate is tacky.

I like a clever plate, one that is kinda challenging to figure out.
That said, I was thinking of getting UBER VW for my Bentley--but no Bentley yet. |

It's an old 1963 Amateur Radio License plate.. Laws have it a way that you are issued only one set of plates (i.e. you will ultimately be able to put it on new cars) Last edited by number9; 04-06-2006 at 06:20 AM.. |

I saw a bright "hello officer red" corvette peeling out from a toll booth once with XSNRG. Another I saw was 8JMIVOM which didn't take long to understand in the rear-view mirror.
