Dealership trip in NJ
Well on Saturday while doing the usual errands with my girlfriend I decided to stop by Princeton BMW. I walked in just to ask a salesman how many people are on the waiting list for a 1 series. Needless to say this salesman was very rude and said well why would we take a deposit when we don't have any pricing info. This guy didn't know his head from his a-hole. Then another salesman sitting at a nearby desk called him over and must of told him hey we are taking deposits. So my salesman comes back and says lets go to my desk to start on the paperwork for your deposit. I immediately got very pissed off and said lets get out of here. So as my girlfriend and I are walking out the door the other salesman that was sitting at the desk ran us down and apologized for how rude the other guy was. I was still on the defensive as too was my girlfriend to which she said a few choice words about us not fitting their clientele dress code. So anyhow the gentlemen explained how the other salesman was brand new, etc and invited me back in for his business card. I told him I would only go back in just for that, he agreed and we went back in. During the time he gave me his business card he also handed me the UK version brochure for the 1. It's literally the same as what was posted late last week.
Now I fully understand why Princeton BMW was rated as the lowest quality dealership in NJ. Anyone else have problems dealing with them? I have also been to Sun Motors BMW in Mechanicsburg, PA a few weeks ago and had a good conversation with a salesman out there. Has anyone dealt with this dealership in the past? |

That's the problem: they'll let any jerk become a salesman and weed them out if their sales are low. I would have walked from the dealership, period, for being stupid enough to allow somebody like that to sell BMWs.

Want a good BMW dealership in NJ?
Go to JMK, ask for Mark Carvalho. He's been with the dealership forever, used to be the service manager, and has been working with BMWs since he was a kid. Probably the best car salesmen I've ever dealt with, and JMK has ALWAYS done a great job service wise. What's more, they're very mod-friendly. |

I talked to a small dealer in Northeast PA over the weekend. They already had 2 orders for the their 4 initial slots. The salesperson expected delivery in Jan. (I don't believe it) He recently saw one in person for training.

I'm doing ED, and he said I could reasonably expect mid-late Febuary to be the earliest I could recieve delivery in Munich. He also said it'll probably be another 3-4 weeks for official US pricing, at which point they'll get their allocations, and will know the production schedule. I'm pumped! I have some good friends in Germany, and it's been a while since I've seen them. Should be fun! :drinking: |

Mainly the city. A lot of my friends are from up there. Its not the dirtiest state but I dont exactly think of green when I think of Jersey. The people rock though.

BMW Dealerships in NJ
Hey if you live in NJ be sure to visit Hunterdon BMW in Lebanon, NJ on route 22. I've bought two 3 series and an X-3 from them. They are without a doubt the best dealer in NJ. Based on my repeat customer status with them, I'll be one of the first to drive a new 135i. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Your not kidding about Princeton BMW! I live 3 miles from the dealership but drive 26 miles to Flemington BMW to buy and service my cars because the people at Princeton are A-holes of the 1st order.
Try Flemington BMW the place is beutiful with a decent inventory. The service Dept is 1st rate IMHO |

You ain't just whistling dixie!
My salesman is the former service manager, and I've met the current service manager, he's fantastic! Their body shop is also the only place I would take one of my cars to be repaired. A couple years back, I bought a Saab 9-3 from them, and was rear-ended on Rt 22 stopped at a red light by someone doing 60 that fell asleep at the wheel. Insurance didn't want to total the car, because the repair estimate was only 25,500 on a 32,000msrp car. JMK went the extra step for us. They completely disasembled the entire car, and made an inventory of EVERY single damaged componenet. The extra few thousand dollars worth of damage they found was enough to convince insurance to total the car out. I have NEVER had a body shop come to bat for me against insurance like that, and I really appreciated it. It was quite a site seeing my car in their body shop... just a bent frame, surrounded by body panels, suspension parts, wheels, brakes, seats, and everything else that makes up a car.
