It happens, I guess I should't bash the entire dealership for one salesman's attitude problems but hey, it's just easier that way.

no i totally agree, i went to buy a vw gti 7 months ago when my car got totaled. i went to one dealership in bradenton and i was asking about the financing options and trying to get a price on the car. the guy was wasting my time shuffling papers, i got aggravated and said, i want a price and to know what i need to qualify for 0% APR or i'm leaving, and he kept insisting i fill out a credit app. i told him where he could stick the credit app (i already knew my score, but he wanted to "prove it"). i was going to pay cash since i just got a check from the insurance company but hey 0% is free money. he was just being a dick because all he saw was a kid with no money. i wrote some nasty reviews online and decided to hold out for the 1. hell i didn't want a FWD car to begin with, esp if i had to deal with that guy. </rant>

The guy we have been dealing with @ Fields Daytona, Jack, seems to be pretty good. After the wife called Fields corporate office on the ass in Orlando they put her directly in touch with this guy in Daytona and so far he has been at least as helpful as a salesman can be.

unfortunately the whole women and cars stereotype is fairly universal in the industry, hard to get around. i am glad that i don't have to deal with it, but its people like you that stand up and fight that will at least pressure people to be less ignorant. although i wouldn't necessarily mind if a cookware salesperson assumed i knew nothing about cooking because i am a guy, i would mind if they assumed i couldn't know anything about cookware.

these problems tend to be self correcting if people fight back, no sales for him means no job.

135i-jet black-fort myers,fl-i ordered mine in dec.mine is at the vpc right now since 2/22 and scheduled delivery date to my dealer in fort myers is on 3/15,1 of 2 arriving and the other is not sold but is fully loaded.that is this saturday.i am psyched.my brother works as a tech there. in dec only put $500 deposit and built my car in late dec.

what up 4th-n-1... yes sir ordered it around 4 weeks ago.. its on dock waiting to be shipped. AW/ CORAL, Sport package, 6-spd manual

Mods i have planned are painting the font grill, new rims and rubber(hate those run flats, they blow) and a decent drop to put things together. As far as performance still looking at all the options, looking at a tune. I hear theres a local shop doing tunes for the 335i, might look into this.

You got PM......As far as the shop, I would go with Active Autowerks. They are a few blocks away from South Motors and do great work.
