Yes, just looked at the paperwork and it’s a $200 fee to transfer.

I believe that’s what my paperwork says. If I ever sold, I’d pay the transfer fee just to help reassure the buyer. However, I won’t be selling lol.

I called BMW directly when I bought my car and they told me CPO was no longer transferable. I was given a two year warranty from dealer so it evened out, wouldn't use it unless I absolutely couldn't repair myself.

Not sure what this establishes. Some of the original owners obviously could not have given a shit. My convertible passed through two owners over its first two years, neither for very long, and the total mileage racked up by the two of them was under 6500 miles. I've owned it the last 2 years, and I really love the car. I'm sure my ownership of the car is for a longer period, now, than the first two owners combined.

I guess I'll post it here. Saw a guy in a white 135is last week or sometime. Even pointed and was like, "Me and you have the same car. Seeeee." But he didn't seem to get it.

Guy just looked at me weird. I just blew by because I figure he doesn't care about the car.

You'd think people would be more interested in each other if they encountered 1 of the other 700 cars that exist in the USA. Nope.

I get it, it's not two 1Ms but still. :/

Must've not been a car guy.

Don't see that many 1ers on the road but when I do I'll blow my horn and give them a thumbs up. Sometimes they reciprocate, sometimes not. Sometimes they look at me weird as well, like that guy did to you. C'est la vie! lol

Was until a few months ago. It took 2 separate cars to replace it. M2 and a Jeep. It was truly a great car to me. Small and fun. But it wasn't the M2 when doing back to back drives. And very little utility that I now have with the Jeep. That said it'll always have a warm spot in my car history.
