The X3 will be my next purchase. I'm not sure which engine powerplant I will go with but it will definitely be a diesel and I plan to get a few options too. The dealership has told me they will be here early next year. I need a small 4wd with a bit of room to haul things around from time to time. The reviews online look promising though.

Yeah, am keeping a close eye on it too as we'll need a four door next year. We are struggling with space with two coupes.

It looks like it's half way between the current X5 and current X3 in size which will be a good size for me. I'm actually really excited about this car. I personally thought the last X3 was a bit overrated and I couldn't come to terms with its looks. The current X5 is a great looking 4wd but it's too big.

This is our view as well - It appears it will be well received by 1 owners.

Perhaps we could get a Group Buy organised - direct from the factory.

Okay, thats not going to happen but one can only dream.

cant wait for the release - our current AWD comes out of lease in October

a group buy from any dealer would make it cheaper though.

I'm interested to find out what kind of options will be available as I've never purchased a BMW 4WD before. I'm keen for a sports version if there is such a thing, I want to toughen up the look. My main options I'm keen for are Pro Nav and Comfort Access.

The size of the new x3 is supposedly very close to the old X5.

looks bigger, longer wheelbase and lower. Note the very practical off road tyres! Bet price jumps too.
