Will you be keeping your current car?

I'm just wondering how many 1M owners will be keeping their current car. Will your 1M be the DD or not?

I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to do yet, but I'm probably going to keep my current car. I drive a lot every year and don't want to put too many miles on the 1M (almost 15k a year), so I could spread the miles out between them.

I'm selling mine. It's already bone stock.

Not sure if that is a step in the right direction.

If I can get the Dinan tune on the 1M they do on the Z4is, I think it's a good trade.

With stage 2 it will have killer power, and the good news you don't need additional oil cooler

Very good question. The winters are unpredictable and can be rough here in Colorado so, this venture of mine would be just a second car. I've got a Grand Cherokee for the DD and Mountain's (during the rough winters)...
But if what all is said about this car being hard to get is true, I think I will look into a Porsche for option #2 (weekend toy)..

I will be selling my 07 335i sedan to my Brother. My 1M will be my sunny day summer driver, but my Subaru 05 STi is my Winter Snowmobile and bad weather driver, it is also my main Autocrosser and track car. The 1M may see some Millersports Park track time in the summer as well.

I am keeping the 335xi for the time being. First, without any guidance on when my dealership will receive its (only) 1M allocation, it could October before I get my 1M. Second, I am not sure how well the 1M will do in winter conditions, so I will keep the x-drive for at least another winter season.

ASSuming that Military Sales can actually sell me a 1M, I intend on making it my DD and using my MINI (R53) as a semi-track/autocross/winter car

The 1M will be my DD and is replacing two cars for me. I sold my Z4 Coupe shortly after placing a deposit on the 1M and will be trading in my GTI when the 1M actually arrives

Plan on keeping my 08 R32 and getting the 1M, not going to say the R32 will be my winter beater nor will the 1M be a weekend toy. I think I'll drive both equally during the dry months and just drive the R32 when we get actual snow

The end result is that you would be able to put that power to the ground much better than in 135

Every once in a while I waffle about trading/selling the Sky RL to make some space in the garage, but then we get a nice sunny day to tear it up with the top down and I can't find it in my heart to ditch 'er. The E83 is manual and we need a beater/kayak/kid transporter/snow machine, so that's not going anywhere either.

Guess we'll have to keep 'em all for now
