i rely what to buy m3 side mirror for my car....it looks so much better on all levels... but i cant find a good place to buy from,

has any one bought the pirate once or is every body buying ome?

Are all the m3 built on the e82?

both the E46 m and e9x?

i don't have the fold ones.

I'm interested in doing this as well. I looked on realoem and found the following.

According to this realoem parts breakdown. You need the following:

Outside mirror right $312 - http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/51167282646/ES2159333/

Set of caps - $25 - http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/51167230971/ES2542771/

There's also carbon fiber caps which are a few hundred each.

Actually, going through the list for the 1er, these two parts were listed as retrofit mirrors.

181 on ECS. Though, I'm not an expert on if any of these are what is needed.

I'm in the process of ordering the 1M parts for a retrofit on my 135is. I wasn't planning on doing this at all, but a nest fell out of a tree and cracked my driver's-side mirror housing so - might as well upgrade.

Yes, I'm ordering the glass as well as the housing and the caps. Basically everything.

I didn't, BSM is just a really forgiving color in photos even when the car is dirty

The caps come primed for paint. The housing is always black, and comes that way.

Had the paint done independently, $75 per mirror. Parts were about $700. DIY install.
