Scrape Repair - Best Solution?
Alright, I finally backed into something. I'm pretty mad about it, but I know shit happens. So how do I make this thing look alright again?
It flattened out a section of the rear bumper ridge into tiny ridges. No longer a flat surface. Do I buff it, or will buffing it take all of that paint off trying to flatten the ridges out? Do I add touch-up paint to try and make it look better?

If it were my car (choosing my words carefully) I'd do a rubbing then polishing compound on it. I think you'll get about 90% of it out with only that bit at the very top left behind. By itself it shouldn't be too noticeable.
I'd avoid touch up paint, I consider myself reasonably smart and handy and after many trials over the years, it's rare it ever works out looking better than having just left things alone. |

Dr Colorchip is the only touch up paint that I've used that is half decent, I only use it as a last resort for mostly rock chips. I'd try to buff it first though like tracer said.

As other have said, most of that looks like it's removable, but the area towards the end looks like it the paint was dug into. Only way to repair that is to sand and do a spot repair (not preferable) or have the entire thing resprayed. Space grey isn't the easiest color to match either.
