Same technique. It's not that big a deal. I've had a blow out at highway speed. The most important thing is not to overreact. The mass of the car moving at high speed is such that a tire loss will not send your car careening off the road - the driver typically does that by slamming the brakes and oversteering. This is also why I think rfts are such a rip off.

My sister had a blowout when she was 17...in an SUV. If she can keep that thing from rolling with 6 months on her license there is no excuse for anybody else. Of course, maybe were both good driver because my dad, the guy who taught us to drive, has been an SCCA member for 40 years?

His teaching was very slowly let off the gas and correct.
