Pushing back release date?

Has anyone heard anything about a delay in the release date? My dealer informed me that they wouldn't be able to order until March and arrival would be april or may. Has anyone else gotten this or am I the only one? Thank you for your input.

blaspheme :biggrin: + what do dealers know I had to point out to my dealer the copy of the brochure they gave me was the non updated one with the wrong 135i weight. then I told him I could email him the link to the brochure if they have a hard time finding it

me too and im a dealer.. nothing ive been told yet??
funny too coz we got our first M3 production spot yesterday too so i cant see them pushing the 1er back.. but who knows..

Thanks all, sometimes I wonder if they are just telling me I am first on their list, but someone else is really getting their first allocation. They said they would be getting 12 I think.

I asked that at the Boston show today, and the answer was that the first US production slots were pushed back to March 8, and the cars should arrive at the dealers' by the end of April.

I'm first on my dealers list, and that is what I've been told from day one. I was also told they may have a tester to drive by mid Jan or early Feb.

I was told delivery would be May '08 form the begining. I know the owner of the dealership very well and he's usually spot on with his delivery dates.
