Found these sweet Exhaust Tips
Found these exhaust tips for the 335i, but Im sure they could be installed on the 135i.
(If Maddad had these on their whisper exhaust, Id already have it on my car. The tips that come on the whisper look too much like the stock tips from the 128i.) Says the price is $99 for the pair. They come in Powder coat black too.http://www.dimisatips.com/buy.php

I had seen these a while back and I was interested. I don't think two 3.5 will fit in the cutout. Would have been nice if it did

Those are going to be hard to mount side by side given the diameter of the outer tip area and mounting piece. It could make for a cool project if you did a custom rear bumper to mimic a 335 with those tips but with the standard 135 dual driver side output, IMO it's going to be off.

Last I checked, this was the "Exhaust and Drivetrain modifications" thread.
Since this is an exhaust modification, albeit a cosmetic one, I figured it would be more logical to post it here. IMO, the cosmetic thread has more to do with spoilers, splitters, mirror caps, body parts...etc. This is an actual Bolt /weld on item that becomes part of the Exhaust system. I do agree w/ Berk,..4" tips are way too large, and will never fit. However the 3.5" might work ??? Nick, appreciate the input on the fitment. Either way,..it looks like a quality piece, and thought the members of this forum might appreciate the post. Might also be worth a call to Dimisa to see if they have any plans for a 3" tip for our cars.

We ended up making our own custom tips for our exhaust system that are 3.15". That ended up being the perfect size for the 135i and looks right at home inside the rear bumper cutout. This car could be your twin brother. |

And if I posted it in the cosmetic forum, Im sure I'd have people getting in my a$$ for posting exhaust related items in the cosmetic forum.
Its close enough to go in either. So I guess we'll just have to disagree. Thanks for the comparo pics and comments guys, it really helps to actually see them on the car. I agree after seeing that Dinan pic,..the 3.5" tips do look too big. Good call. Berk, that is a nice lookin exhaust,..Im going to take a closer look at that in the spring. Thanks for posting.

Guys seriously chill the hell out, and quit playing vigilante-moderator. This thread is related to the exhaust system of the car, this forum is for exhaust and drivetrain modifications. Isn't changing the tips considered modifying the exhaust?? Just because it won't equate to more power, doesn't mean it doesn't belong in this forum.
