sounds good. I'd love to do the mods you have along with headers to get the max power out of my car. especially considering i'm never selling mine.

My mods were actually "accidental"
-i was offered the exhaust, and took it cuz there are few 128i options out there
-i jumped on the manifold because a local yard listed it on carpart.com I figured i could save on shipping.
-i found a classified ad for both msport sideskirts in my colour AND e93 sway bar

If it wasnt for these events, i would have coilovers & maybe even wheels by now.
So i deferred suspension for power gains lol

I recently learned that CTSCC teams that are running 128i's in the ST class are using Bosch Motorsport injection. My 128i is my next racecar and I really need to get to the bottom of this power thing. What better source I can find besides a grand-am team, isn't it?

Evice, they use full motec Ecus which have to be tuned from scratch on a Dyno and on track. The engines they use are also highly modified with increased rev limiters and dry sump oil kits. One of the cars was for sale, it was selling for 100kusd

That's what I heard as well Motec is used however this team I talked to was using Bosch Motorsport ECU.Also, no on rev limiter or dry sump. Sunbelt I believe builds those N52s, at least seals them.

Confession time I have an Evolve dyno. Done in the adaptation period with No intake, wrong fuel and old oil. So not ideal. See post #1

So what you are saying is that with all those limiting factors and stock headers, your SAE corrected WHP within statistical variance(1.7whp difference) is the same as 631twentyeighteye's car with AA, Mapleridge headers, DISA, and whatever else he is running?

Not bad at all.

I just went over his thread. If you look at SAE only than yes they are simmilar numbers.
But that may be due to the dyno being optimistic & my exhaust. My base dyno's compared to other e90 or 128i dynojets are about 5hp to 10hp higher.

SAE is the only figure to look at as it attempts to standardize results across dynos. There certainly is a margin of error to it(as I noted), but it's a much better figure to use rather than STD.

I know no one wants to hear that the product that they bought isn't as good as another, but this Tune just doesn't seem as "good" as AA/OE.

I just loaded my OE tune on my car the other night, I should be redynoing shortly.

Nice, I haven't seen Oe tunning dynos in a long time. Would love to see delta gains you get. Same for eurocharged.

A far as evolve. Judgement is still out till we see more dynos with 93 octane. Most other tunes I saw dyno base and then intake 93 octane tune and exhaust as run #2. Or they do tune first and then add the disa. I wanted to document disa vs tune since is a rare approach. I'm not done because the adaptation stage dyno may not have all gains.

Fair enough, I'd love to see a follow up - and hopefully more gains. I'm never upset with having options.

Winter time, taking it easy

The dynos were done at Neetronics - oakville
Eurocharged at the time had their toronto rep out in Hong Kong (Jan 2013) & the new dealer with the dyno was not open.

Hows your 128i with aging bushings? I found a polish brand that is cheap and offers very stiff 90A bushes and a very cheap source of Nolathane (same as whiteline) from australia

Source to those Polish bushings and the Nolathane bushings?

BTW. I had a dream I was under the 128i and I was cutting away my resonator lmfao. In 30cm of snow.
