Leather Trimmed Binnacle

Has anyone Retrimed their plastic Binnacle (the bit sticking up form the dash that houses the speedo etc ) in leather?

Or does anyone know where i can find a relplacement one on line already done in leather?

Never seen what you are looking for. Nice word, "binnacle". I'd only use it referring to a housing for a compass on a boat but I'm sure it can be used here too. I'd just call what you are referring to the instrument cluster. Good luck, might just have to do it yourself.

What is the 1M one? is that alcantara or leather?

Spoke to a BMW parts supplier in London UK a he can get me one off the M1 from Germany for $200 US

So have changed the binnicle and Steering Wheel for the 1M interior pack much improved

Very simple to remove and replace the alcantara, i think it was a very good value modification, for the drivers point of view no more staring at plastiki every time I drive
