Oil capacity with Dinan Oil Cooler

Hello!!

I will be instaling my Dinan Oil Cooler (135i E82) next week. Is the amount of oil the same than stock or i will be needing more oil??

Specifications Total Volume Stock: 9.5 oz. / Total Volume Dinan: 19 oz.

So almost a 1/2 qt.

I normally put 6.5 liters in each oil change.
With the Dinan Oil Cooler i have to put 7 liters?

Can anyone with the Dinan instal confirm this please?

I use the car for tracks so i dont wanna have any oils problems

I put in 7 qts regularly and oil level is right on.

Every time I put in 6.5 qts, oil level shows 1/2 qt low

Cooler should not drain when you do an oil change?!?

So you are saying that roughly 20 oz of oil remains in the system? I have not thought about the mechanics of it so am not doubting or arguing, - what thought prompts you to pose the question?
