Big ol' nasty golf ball size dent

Just inherited this golf ball size dent in my 135. No major creases or paint chipping that I can see, but I'm no expert. It's right on the #%$* body line of the driver's side 1/4 panel. Any suggestions on how to get this repaired? Paintless removal seems practical, but again I wouldn't know.

My local Dent Wizard has fixed three dents on my 09' already. One was a chunc of ice during the winter, another was a baseball sized dent on my hood and the other from a x-mas shopper in a mini van. All were fixed to look like new.

Ouch!

I just had one close in size removed from the right quarter panel of my x3.

I watched the dent guy remove it from an angle.

It was a cool thing to watch. Good as new now.

I even tipped him an extra 20 bux because I was so damn happy!

Best of luck, I had some pretty nasty hail damage that was fixed with paintless repair so it should be possible to get it fixed...

Do you know what caused it? Was it a rock thrown up by a passing vehicle? If so, doesn't your insurance cover it (minus your deductible)?

no i have no idea that caused it....walked out of the store and there it was....and yes my insurance would cover it, however, my deductible is set at $1000 anyway...

just picked up my car from carstar.... overall they did a very good job, obviously once you start removing body panels and windows, the seams arnt going to be factory perfect when you put it all back together, but this is as close as it gets.... $1200 later

You haven't had any dreams about sucking up golf balls at the driving range lately, have you?

That's true. If they are a little off next time your 1 is in for service have them take a look at it. For some reason I had much better luck with the BMW service center's adjustments than the generic collision center's attempt.

Will bmw actually fix it under warranty? Even though it was clearly done at a body shop? Or will they charge me up the @$$ to make the car "bmw acceptable"
