Color/Interior
Finalizing order tonight. Thinking Monaco Blue with Coral Red interior. Any thoughts? Need opinions. It's either this or the Sedona Red with Black leather interior.
Thanks LJ |

Might be nice, but even with the darker blue, it may be a bit
Sedona and black is a really nice combo...

Now that I really think about it, it would look good. I love the Coral red. When I saw Monaco blue in person it looked almost black on an overcast day. So the Coral would look much better with Monaco then Montego and Coral, which would be VERY BRIGHT inside and out. I say go for the Monaco/Coral combo, sure to be limited and special.

make sure you see the Sedon red in natural light and the showroom before you chose it. It wasn't for me. It looked much different in person then in pictures. It has a much different look in some light.

If you have to have blue and red Monaco would be the way to go. Just plan on leasing or keeping it a while as its not going to be a color combo many would want. Doing red interior I would do black, gray or white.

That just gives me "flashbacks" to my teenage years working in new car "get-ready" department where we cringed when a white interior car would need to be prepped for customer delivery.
Instantaneously dirty it seemed, just as soon as you removed the transportation plastic seat covers..... Lemon likely not as drastic as white, but you'd really have to work at maintaining it....too much for me to undertake and I love detailing my cars...just not on a near-daily basis. I'd look at Taupe (could save $$$ and go Leatherette) or the Savanna Beige with Monaco. That'd be my tradeoff from both an color combo and maintenance perspective. Good luck with your decision! |
