For those who upgraded just the front, do you now feel an imbalance since the rear subframe bushings / rods are still stock? I.e. the front feels nice and sharp, but now the rear feels even worse because it's softer than the front? On another car someone I know replaced only the front bushings and you could feel the rear taking some time to settle compared to the front in a turn.

Basically just deciding whether to do front and rear at once, or whether I can get away with doing just the front for a little bit.

Garage List
Front + Rear > Front > Nothing. Yes, you can still feel the rear as unsettled as ever but the initial turn in and response makes it better than nothing.

Well, I bit the bullet and got the front and rear kits. Held off on BMW performance suspension for the time being.

Any approximation of how many hours in labor is being duplicated by doing just the front + rear (wishbone, guide rod, subframe bushings) and then installing shocks/springs later?

^None. Only thing to consider when dropping the rear subframe for the bushings is that'd be the time to install a rear sway bar.
