Fave interior detailing gear??
So I tried posting this under the detailing thread, but no replies. My impatience got the better of me and have re-posted it under its own thread. I know I'm not the only one curious about this. Someone help a bradda out!!
Alright kids, a lot of people have posted what they like to use on the exterior (wax/polish) or what they use for leather conditioning, but not too many have mentioned the interior plastic surfaces. So let's hear it. Meguiars, 303, Armour All, Poorboys??? I've tried a couple of the aforementioned, but they seem to leave an oily residue that just attracts more dirt/lint in the end. |

I use 'baby oil' on the dash pad of my 71' Buick Skylark, said pad is 37 years-old, no cracks. Works for me...

Also, for plastic and painted surfaces, try Plexus, which may be found in motorcycle shops. And for convertible tops, RaggTopp protectant is great stuff. Tom |

I was thinking about using the following:
Interior Vinyl: Poorboys Natural Look Dressing Leather: Zaino Z9 and Z10 Carpet: Auto Scotchguard (will this discolor black fabric?) Trim: I am not sure. I ordered High Gloss Black Trim - so I may just use a bit of soap and water? Thoughts? |

I have read that zaino 9 and 10 are good for leather and smell good.
Also that Poorboys natural look dressing is good as well as 303. They both leave a somewhat matt finish on the dash. Thats what I am looking for. I hate seeing my dash glare in my windshield. |

I will use the cleaner only if the surface is excessively dirty...but most of the time just the 303 Aerospace Protectant
