e90 owners: Do you have Manual (6MT) or Auto (Steptronic) Trans?

Polling to determine percentage of members who have 6MT vs the 6-spd Steptronic.

My hunch is that we will see a higher proportion of Manual Trans owners on this website than what would normally be reflected in the general population of e90 owners.

6MT for me (when it gets here that is).

I was shocked to find when I began shopping that there were ZERO MT's in stock at any of the 3 dealers out here. Zip, nada, none, zero. All automatics. I can see perhaps a slight majority being auto, but that's ridiculous in a car like the 3!

This will be my 18th car.. only 2nd 4-door sedan, and still no auto, though sometimes I do like driving one just for a change of pace. But not for more than a couple of days.

As good as autos are now, they are boring. I've always shifted automatic transmissions like manuals anyway, even in the days when I had three on the tree...

When a 3 mile trip here in Los Angeles takes roughly 20-25 mins...there is NO enjoyment in driving a manual tranny.

All 3 of our cars cars are Auto. No apologizes, regrets or excuses.
