Both films are the same price as far as i know. Andrew mentioned the venture tape is tougher but i think its much of a muchness. Ozicozi will look at your car and then recommend the best film for it....

I think I will definitely do this - just the bumper though. My 350z bumper is in tatters from stone chips etc...always annoys me when I wash it.
Way, one mans exotic is anothers daily driver. I think 85k qualifies this is worth looking after though...for me anyway.

Fair enough guys. But it wasn't quite what I mean anyway. It's not the wealth/price ratio I was referring to. For example, I care for my 135i as much as I do my Aston. When I say exotic garage queen, I am refering to something like an Enzo where 99% of them are bought as a collection and not for driving. But I see what you and Kris are saying. I guess you will be the ones laughing in 2 years time when I turn up in a car with chips all over and you guys turn up with brand new looking cars! I will be envious of all you guys!

Guys can I just ask how your paint protection is going? Still happy with it? I'll be booking this in when I take delivery. And how are you maintaining it?

Mines fine! no dramas. I need to take it in though because there is a section on my door cup that wasn't right from day one. Just a case of getting to atarmon...
I wash the car as normal and clean the film with this plastic cleaner I brought from Ozi (Plexus it's called) |

Some tosser threw something at my car and I have three nice chips in a neat row on the driver's door.
Pee's me off but all I can do is order a tin of touchup paint from BMW. Fortunately, whatever made the chips didn't dent the metal. Oh yeah - also crunched the bottom of the air dam/intake on a higher than normal kerb - Thanks Domino's Pizza!!!! At least you can't see the scrtaches as they are underneath. And there's the numerous finger/hand prints and booger trails on the drivers window that I get at school from my daughter's kindy mates.

Yes matty if you go to the Ozi Cozi website there is a fitter based in Brisbane. One day after I get my car I might take a trip down to get one fitted (probably will be too late by then I suspect!).

For the Queensland guys the fitter for Ozi Cozi is Dijon from The Racing Room, located at Brendale (7/24 Deakin St.)
Contact is 0400 042 244. I went with the ventura film in the street package listed on the website and was/am very happy with the job and product. Prices are listed on the website for the 1 series but best to give Dijon a call for a price on the 135. |

My score:
3 stone chips (2 on the bumper, one on the bonnet) 1 chipped windscreen 1 dented intercooler 1 bent bumper with cracked attachments And the car has only 2500km on the clock.:iono: Not worried about the bumper as I am going to be getting a new one when I fix my wallaby damage, but the bonnet and windscreen are annoying! Taking my car into town on Tuesday to see if Novus can repair the windscreen. Apart from keeping her garaged, I'm just accepting this damage as the price one pays for living in a state with very few divided roads and LOTS of wildlife with death wishes..... The consolation: :thumbup::thumbup: driving roads!!
