Hey guys, I just checked the BOM site. It says showers on Sat but no reference to it clearing in the afternoon. On that basis and so we don't end up going in circles, let's just stick to the morning.

If it's going to be wet I might come along. My subby should have no problems in the wet conditions. You guys may even have problems keeping up.

The Liberty GT isn't exactly a slow car in either wet or dry! Come along!

Sorry to be a pain, guys but it's almost always damp up at the spur in the morning- still think we are better off in the arvo for a greater guarantee of good weather.

Anyway, who the hell wants to get up at sparrow's fart on Sunday morning!!!

For mine, much better in the arvo......

Ok we will let Dr. Organiser make the final call. My preference is morning after thinking hard about it. There will be other traffics to content with in the afternoon and we will not be driving fast enough to worry about damp conditions.

Traffic won't be so much of an issue on the Reefton run back, but it will be on the spur.

There will be some moisture on the surface in the morning. That said I won't be pushing 10/10ths, but will be having a bit of fun. My personal preference from all the past cruises I've taken part in/organised is morning, as it gives you the whole afternoon to be productive and do whatever needs doing on a sunday, it's also generally significantly quieter roads.

PS. Dodgy, I did an on call from Phillip Island last weekend! Too easy!

The other option is, translate the cruise and do a Broadford/Yea run.

High speed and a few great twisties. I've overtaken dukes on corners doing that run before.

Let's stick to the Spur. Your call whether morning or afternoon. To be frank I will just go with whatever majority wants to do.

Me again, guys....

In terms of traffic- I could not care less re traffic on the spur road as it is infested with cops anyway. Grrrrr! The road from Marysville to Reefton and onto Warburton though was totally traffic- free last weekend in the afternoon. Highly recommened.

And my mate at the weather bureau still reckons that the arvo is a safer bet- so I reckon that's still our best option.

Also, my better half is keen to come along and take a video from the driver's seat which I will then post onto Youtube for 1Addicts but she can only make it in the arvo.

So, by hook or by crook, it's the arvo for me. I'll definetely be at the start point at 1.00pm. Hope that some of you guys can make it too. Otherwise, for those of you who are there in the morning, I hope you have a great drive- just watch those icy and damp morning roads!!!

Going to have to ask where you picked one of those up. I've seen the results. Impressive.
