FINALLY I see another 1er close to home!
Pulled into the A+ store to get gas for my pressure washer and there at the island across from me is a black 128i convertible. Nice guy, 20's; started to talk cars; the missus in his car starts with the eye rolling; discussion aborted! I could tell though theat he has passion for his bimmer though despite the buzz-kill in the passenger seat (LOL). Sometimes spouses and Bimmers don't mix
Wished I'd gotten a chance to ask if he has been over here. Obviously takes good care of his car - it was cleaner than mine (and that's rare; hence the gas fillup for the pressure washer)

Total coincidence...I've been bitching here about never having seen a 1er ANYWHERE (including a 12+ hour trip to OBX and back in July)
and just today a guy...had to be in his 60's...passes me on the interstate in his red 128, which to me looked like a Year One Of the One 128. I looked over to give him the high sign but he was lost in a world of total bliss...much like I am whenever I'm behind the wheel. |
