I tend not to use the voice command for programming the nav. I just use it for simple things like cancelling guidance and switching radio stations and using the telephone. I think it would be time consuming to program nav with voice and the new interface makes it very simple using the controller.

Yes there is a birds eye view and a north orientated view and a perspective view with or without 3D terrain. And you can program entire journeys into your nav now instead of just a destination.

Wow that looks really nice. I prefer the pop-up navi, but the functionality and graphics on that are awesome.

What do you mean by entire journey?
Like deciding points on the route you want to go through?

Exactly, you can program an entire journey i.e. First stop Luxembourg, then when you get there it says "You have arrived at your stop-off" and it automatically flicks to the next destination and starts guiding you to Strasbourg.

I'm off to Switzerland on Tuesday and I've programmed my satnav already:
Antwerp > Luxembourg > Strasbourg > Lausanne > Zurich (via Matterhorn) > Liechtenstein > Stuttgart > Cologne > Antwerp.

All ready and waiting

Another clever feature is that you can get to your destination and then select "Reverse Journey" and it guides you all the way home again...
