Thanks again to Pete A for organising this GB.

First pic is with a 10mm spacer on the front. 2nd and 3rd pic is the rear with a 5mm spacer. Just dropped back from a 10mm to a 5mm cause of a little rubbing.

It's nice not to need different length lug nuts for different spacers isnt it?

How much did you torque your studs down? I did 40Nm on each using the double nut method. 120Nm on the nuts themselves.

Couldn't agree more. Now everytime I need to adjust my coilovers, change wheels or add or remove spacers it takes no time paired with an impact gun.

The studs were set to 30 ft/lb and the nuts at 88ft/lb so yeah same torque specs.

Studs = Race car

Was looking around for some fancy nuts for my newly stud-converted car.

There are a few types (added benefit of these 'Project KICKS' type is that they are two piece rotating base to prevent damage to wheels):
Project KICKS R26

Project KICKS R40 (Come in capped and uncapped versions)

Then there are normal open ended ones (These are Muteki SR48 Open End Tuner Lug Nuts)

I quite like the R40 capped nuts because they come in a set of 16 + 4 lock nuts + key + caps ontop to prevent dust going in. Problem is I'm having trouble finding a black set that is not a fake (dont like shadow titanium colour).

Has anyone else had experience with these sorts of things or can recommend any other brands? The R40 capped set is pretty $$$

I love the project kics. That's what I (will) have, as soon as I get back to Perth to pick up the studs (thanks for those, btw). I thought they only came in two colours though? the shadow chrome/titanium and the neo chrome? Didn't think there was a straight black option...

I have the Black Chrome Project Kics R40 and Matt Schnell 75mm studs. Love them.
Can't find any decent close up shots, but this gives a bit of an idea.

Thanks buddy, I ordered a set (not cheap at all!). I'll order the caps when I install these and confirm that the studs don't stick out from the end on my setup (no spacers).

... anyone up for a group buy of the project kics nuts?

some of the stuff on aliexpress could be genuine haha (even for replicas, they're supposedly not really dodgy)

Looking good! May I ask where you picked up your StopTech's from? They have dropped in price recently and I'm almost ready to buy.
