I remember your orange rims from bimmerfest =).
I personally use speedventures.com. They rent out all of the socal/norcal tracks for different days / weekends and then they sell spots to their members at pretty good prices. They also run different groups such as beginner, intermediate, advanced and etc. So you won't just be thrown onto the track to fend for your own. I plan to take my 135i there once I hit the break in period and get my N55 tuned. |

Check out speed ventures. I joined them this weekend. Organized very well. Raced at streets of willow at WSIR and I loved it. I can't wait my next event.

not very good, but pretty close to OC (relatively....Willow springs is a long ways away) is Adams go-kart track in Riverside.
Seriously... http://www.adamsmotorsportspark.com/ If you're into drifting, you can drift your own car there. If you're looking for a very tight course, they have a time attack. Nice part about that is you don't have to worry about other people running into you. I've never driven on it (Only done streets of willow in my buddy's Lotus Exige S) but figured I'd throw it out there. If you want to drag race, The Speed way in Fontana has a 1/4 mile track. http://www.autoclubspeedway.com/Tick...gal-Drags.aspx Hope this helps.

dont waste your time with adams... Dont get me wrong they are great people and its a lot of fun but only if your in a kart...
you dont want to learn to drift there either. if you want to learn to drift go join just drift at Willow Springs this saturday at the balcony(big skid pad) as far as the other tracks above do it!! try adn get out soon because the longer you wait the hotter its going to get and heat sucks the life out of 1s. speedventures is a very good place to start. Aaron(guy who runs it) is super nice and they will get you out on track and up to speed quickly |
