Your car is really coming along well!

Did you paint the calipers black instead of the neon green like your engine cover or are you still going to do that?

Thank you!
no thatŽs the stock caliper color. n55 brakes are a tad darker than the n54 calipers. I`m still thinking about painting them vi-green.

The quality, weave and fitment is great!
It`s a shame I had to go for the aerocatches tho. But when you drive on the german autobahn you def need them!

Love the hood and the wheels! I don't know if I'm a fan of the stripe though. I'd have to see it in person, could be the photos not giving the full perspective

The weave of the cf was so lovely that it was a hard decision to have the hood painted. So my plan was to leave some cf exposed.

This was actually the second version. The first version was the whole middle part of the bumper left in cf, but I didn`t like it. So this was the next step and when I`m getting bored of it, I`ll paint the rest!
But it`s is much easier to paint cf than getting a painted area back cf!

At the moment I`m just so happy everytime I see the car, I totally fell in love with this paint scheme and thatŽs all what matters!

But you are right haha, on pictures I`m not a fan of it either!
At least it depends on the perspective!

I can imagine it in person. The CF has depth and will stand out a bit in various light. I think your set up looks cool. I love painted CF over fully exposed panels. I think its more tasteful. Having mods that dont immediately jump out are awesome and its nice when people recognize them.

If you ever get bored with it, blast the whole hood white.

exactly what I thought!

yes, it`s very special!
when the sunlight is on the hood you can barely even recognize it.
and when you stand in front of the car you can only see the front a small stripe, since the most part of the exposed area is flat and the height difference is only about 2 cm.

I will take some pictures for a better understanding!

Yeah, I went back and looked at the close up picture and it definitely looks better. I was having a hard time telling where the bump was. I really like the scheme you've got going, and everything works well together. I hope I'll be able to start modding my car soon.

Keep posting more pics, I love seeing more Alpine White 1ers

Thank you! Finally I have the same feeling now!
And because of that I`m afraid to do more, so I will think twice before adding more mods!

I`m very active on instagram at the moment. #performonster

I just checked out your instagram page and saw that you have a custom dash and speedo. It looks awesome. I'm always a fan of leather/material dash's.

a friend of mine is saddler which did all the alcantara work for me.
I had the 1m gauge before, but since I got rid of every m badge,
I had to sell it!

i don`t know! do you know for which parts?
since they don`t offer dps or fmics, just their piggybox.
but that would be great! they have different suppliers.
like sachs or bilstein. my summer wheels are made by legendary fuchs and my winter wheels are made by bbs.

what is a rig?

but here is a pic of my new summer wheels!
