Does anyone know where this brilliant wheel cleaner can be purchased? None of the overseas sights i've found can even ship to australia!!!! I wish repco never stopped stocking it! Joe |

Jozeff, here's the Wolf's Chemicals "Brake Duster" Wheel cleaner we used on the Carlssons. You will love this product:

I've used MANY good wheel cleaners, some of which are mentioned in this thread.
Although, technique plays a more important role in obtaining a decent result. You need to aggravate the wheel with a microfibre mitt or wheel brush. |

I have that brush and it was good, but find it bends too easily now. Makes it hard to get a good scrub going. |

I tried looking for the sonax stuff also, but realistically not sure how much value there is after you get shafted on AUS postage.
I'm currently using autoglym custom wheel cleaner to get them spotless, after which I dry them off properly, then used almost a can of armour all wheel protectant ($12) to seal them nicely. Works a treat and you don't need to scrub them every wash, great stuff for the price, and the dust just wipes away - even with a cloth on dry rims! |

I'm another Sonax fan, their wheel cleaner is essentially the same as the BMW OEM wheel cleaner, basically just different packaging. Sonax is also supplier for Ford and Holden carcare products, I've managed to stock a few at AutoBarn. Wheel protectant is useless IMO. |

not for BMW OEM brake pads...the wheels are PTIA to clean without wheel cleaners.

On my M3 CS, I've only ever used pH neutral car wash to clean the wheels? Never used any wheel cleaners. Even on my E36 M3, never used them. Wheel cleaners do make it easier though, but as mentioned countless times, clean your wheels AT LEAST once a week |

I get my Sonax wheel cleaner from local Autobahn store.
Washed my wheels weekly, polished with wheel wax monthly to prevent brake dust from sticking to the wheels. 80% of brake dust gone. |

Is anyone else interested in some sonax wheel cleaner for ~ $15 each I'm going to import a 6 pack over for some friends and will have a few spares left remaining (I wash my rims once a week with car wash and a small handmitt)
