Melbournian - who wants to meet 2qik4u and see project SBM17?

I believe Mike (2Qik4U) is picking up his car some time this sat along with his mate SBM16. I thought this is a great chance to have a GTG at Andrew's workshop to check their cars out and a meet and greet. Who's in? Mike, can you tell us what time would suit?

Doh! I thought it was this weekend they are picking up the cars? Mike previously mentioned it. So when will they be down? Would be great opportunity for those 1er who has never seen your operation to check it out and discuss go fast bits with you.

Yes well, i am waiting for the diffs, otherwise i could be driving the cars now and testing, so if i get the diffs friday i need a couple of days to make sure they are 100% right to go. I will not have it any other way. They must be right. So the Sedona car may be going early next week and the LeMans car after that, all out effort will be to put the Sedona car back together, when the parts arrive as planes are booked.

I'd love to meet up - since I have been meaning to come into SBM and chat with Andrew and organise dyno time and other goodies...alas I have been working long hours (check the time on this post...and Monday I did 8am till 6.30am

Hi all,

I will be at Sandown Race Track at 6.30pm-7pm ish tonight, the Sedona and LeMans cars will be there as well. We have been trying to get a booking for the track but cannot as it is full, however, we can meet up there and have a catch up. You guys may want to go for a drive after wards also.

I hope to see a few more of your 135i's tonight guys:thumbup:

I'll be at sandown around 7 myself. Taka is already going to be there for the track day. I vote we go for a short drive along mt dandenong after sandown. Maybe go for a bite before that. Prof, come after your class. Anyone else?

Wayne, If I wasnt running so late getting my BAS's out this quarter, I would of considered that option seriously..

I wont be able to make it down to the track, just had a machine go down at work so looks like a bit of fun. Will keep an eye out for a some cute 1'ers on the highway heading to Mt Dandenong as I live around there area.
