So anyone customizing their plates? If so, what do you like?

I just ordered mine this weekend. This is the first car my fiance and I have bought together, its the first BMW we've ever owned, and its the 1-series. So our plate will say:

RFIRST1

We're picking the car up in Munich in August for our honeymoon.

I had QUICKBM on my 525...My last name is Quick...but too many people thought the BM meant bowel movement...so my car's nickname became quick sh*t

as for this one...UNDRPSI

As far as teens and nice cars go, there was a local high school that handed out a student award for the best car. It seems silly, but evidently it was a pretty big deal and the students acted like it was some great achievement. :frown:

In the past year there have been several fatal car accidents with teenagers behind the wheel, but they are far from being the only offenders on the road. They are joined by the "Greenies" in hybrids that always seem to want to show me how fast their cars can go, the little women in huge SUVs that make up for their lack of stature by their aggressive driving, the lost tourists that think that backing up on the interstate because they missed their exit is a good idea, the local power brokers making deals on cell phones instead of watching where they are driving, and of course the diplomats with M cars that have immunity from tickets and jail time and think that they are starring in a BMW film.

Anyway, the list goes on and on. So yes I've most certainly noticed, but I just try to deal with it without raising my blood presssure too much.
Lol i know what your talking about I live near the springfield mixing bowl in Virginia and all these damn tourist just need to get computer guided cars because they are shitty drivers

- I get having 'standard' plates that match your car. Pretty rare.
- I get the fun of something fanciful or reflective of the sheer joy of a performance car
- Re-iterating the badging on the car or saying something lame like 'my toy' just makes us want to tell you that it does, in fact, look like a hair piece.

In IL. you can't mix letters or numbers at the beginning and end.
Example: 1 HHH 1 = NO

You have to put letters first, then numbers.

Example: WON 35 This is one I am considering.

My online name (H2OSKIR) is on my GMC truck I pull the ski boat with. The new BMW will probably get whatever the state hands out. Since we are doing an ED maybe we should get something on our license plate that reminds us of our European Vacation.

Yeah - don't watch it, or even find out what it's all about - however, search YouTube for Kermit the Frog's reaction.

Priceless - in a 'Pulp Fiction' kinda way...
