Cleaning Anthracite headliner?

Did a quick search for this before posting, sorry if its been covered before but what is the best way to clean the Anthracite headliner on my M Sport equipped car? I have some light whitish spots and marks on the headliner that don't come off with dry rubbing. I haven't tried with water since I don't want to mess up the material but is there a cleaner that is recommended for this? Thanks

Steam clean it. Works wonders!
