I really hope BMW will stop the run flats produciton on 1s.. They are heavier and ride is harsher... Bring back the regular tires.

Maybe BMW is sick of every single magazine comparo mentioning the tires, and sometimes giving the 1 the 2 spot for it.

And let me tell you, it was like pulling teeth to get the files for that online brochure... They come from a company in Germany that does all versions (including English/French.) If anything is wrong with them... you guessed it.. it has to go back through Germany/AG...

If only they would just hand over their source code.

These days however, BMW Canada manages most web content online themselves as we spent 2-3 months porting them to a new content management system (also based in Germany.)

oh and they're probably doing it not just because of the complaints but I think 4 reg tires and mobility kit cost less than 4 RFTs- will the new 1s have the TPMS, if not theres more cost savings there too!
