So I wasn't reading it wrong then.
Should we ask Cobb about running 20+ psi on N54 engines? any potential problem?

No way I want to run over 18.5psi. That's >4 over stock. Changed back to just S1.

Cobb was in BETA back when I went with Evolve. Evolve is a great tune, but my car had problems with it. Cobb now out of BETA, so I went with Cobb.

The Evolve is a great tune, but Cobb is better IMO. It gets to boost far more quickly. It is also way easy to manage maps etc. and has great functionality such as logging etc.

How's that charge pipe holding up? All still clamped on and bolted on nicely?

Yes, been keeping an eye on it. All tight. It is a bit tricky getting a secure fit to the throttle body, but once on it is very secure. Have to ensure rubber o-ring is in place and the wire clip insert correct direction.

New Ferodo DS2500's on the front with new rotors. Initial bite is not as good, but when they do bite it is strong with no fade.

Not convinced that the vibrations through the brake pedal are gone though!?!

Also changed diff and transmission oils... What came out didn't look great when I poured samples onto paper towel. Consider changing more often if the car is driven hard.... $400

Hey Ian, how long do your rears light up in 2nd when you plant the VO? Mine seem to spin for ever, thinking the rears may be getting a bit tired. (Pardon the pun)

Is this when just going straight or around corners?

Going straight I find I actually don't have any traction issues except in first. Maybe a slight chirp in second depending on the road surface.

I don't mean 2nd gear hard change. Straight line, Smooth change into second , start to pick up torque, then WOT. Spins continuallg, until change into third.

At Advan for dyno to check I don't have any boost leaks after CP install and to see what the Cobb offers. I thought I had loaded "S1 Aggressive +FMIC" map, but when I got home it seems it was the "S1 Aggressive".

Great tune, can see how the max boost occurs early in the RPM and AFR are smooth.

Thanks Pete... was good to have a chat too Next are camber plates.

Charts look good Ian. Were the dyno runs in 3rd gear?
I emailed Cobb about the boost level in stage 1+ FMIC Aggressive, waiting to hear from them.
With Stage 1 Aggressive only, boost looks the same as what I see on P3 readings, max about 18.5.

Did you talk to Pete about running boost at 20psi?

18.5 seems max on S1 Aggressive, 20 is amx on S1 Aggressive + FMIC.

I am ok with 18.5. More than that is too much IMO

Nice dyno figure Ian. You know you can make more power by running less boost and a little more timing. You'd need a custom tune though. Looks as though you hit a little over the requested boost then throttle probably began to close and boost dipped down fast from 19psi to 16.5psi. Can't be certain without a log. Hope you logged that dyno run.
