F30 front grey caliper upgrade part numbers

Hey everyone, if someone that has done this upgrade could provide the part numbers for the front rotors and pads I'd greatly appreciate it.

I got the front grey brembos off an f30 and want to be 100% sure i order the right rotors and pads the first time to avoid restocking fees.

I checked the sticky but it didn't have part numbers.

Car is a 128i. Thanks in advance.

Hi Bender, im doing the same upgrade, I would suggest you actually validate the caliper part number you have to be sure, I have the following calipers which are the grey 4 Piston brembos. Assuming they are the same ones you have, you can then go to any of the racing pad sites, such as porterfield and validate your pads that way. Or go to Real oem etc.

Calipers. Left and right

Again please check for yourself, but I went to real oem and input the caliper part numbers and got this part number for the pad. Also you will notice that when you go to Porterfield and input any of the vehicles the calipers come on, there are a lot of cars that use the 4 piston brembos. The pad dimensions should be 113mm long

If you need me to measure my internal dimensions of my caliper or send you pics shoot me a DM. Happy to help.

Thanks rackhenry , where do you see the part number on the caliper? I only see 20 A 788 03 / 20 A 788 02

They are the 4 piston brembos but very curious where you found the part numbers for the calipers.

Hi Bender,

I did not find the number on the calipers themselves. I did a bunch of research on Real OEM.

Once I got the part number I thought was correct, I used a part number search on Ebay to order the calipers. For example If I put the number in ebay the caliper I have shows up. You can also try posting the part numbers on the calipers themselves on Ebay or just a Google and the right calipers also show up.

Oh and this post is probably worth reading as well.

I just checked my calipers btw, my left caliper, 20 A788.03 and the other half 20 A787.04. Hope that helps. ( I assume your calipers have a number on each caliper half? Also there is another number on my caliper on the outside it is 340 P440

I read somewhere that 340 is the rotor size so I guess only thing to measure is that pad is 113mm. Thanks again for your time!

When I was researching the caliper upgrade, I had realized we are fortunate in that BMW used the same rotor on many cars! The rotor prices are very reasonable!
