forge vs wagner intercooler
Hey guys, currently looking for a intercooler for my 1M,
Does forge require bumper removal during installation..? How does this two compared? Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks |

I have a Wagner FMIC and love it. Haven't tried the Forge.
Depending on the mode of installation you may have to remove the front bumper cover. There's a bit of a price difference but I'm sure you already know that. |

The Forge does not require bumper removal. I only have the stock unit to compare against and the Forge seems to cool IATs faster than stock.

Thanks guys.. well will that price difference create big difference on how they perform as well, i'm a kind of person that do not want to "save" money for mods, since i'll just regret over them, having hard time selling the mods and get a new one.

Thanks pal, I think i'm a bit more on forge, but I do see "sparoz" 1M which has like all high-ends and top of the line mods, but I think he did use a wagner intercooler

Also... keep in mind Wagnor makes two FMIC's. Well.... really four!
Evo-I(no cutting of the bumper) and Evo-II(some cutting will need to be done, but the end caps are different I believe. Both FMIC's are available in a "Tube and Fin" design or a "Bar and Plate" design. The EU tuners want a "Tube and Fin" design while the US guys want a "Bar and Plate" design. Dackel
