However, the brake dust will not be evenly distributed on each rim, my vote is for gunmetal as well...

I fumbled with this issue for a long long time. I was actually surprised that so many people like black rims, especially on a black car. I don't like the "blacked out" look personally. I think it makes the wheel look drab. But I also feel that a silver or chrome wheel on a black car has too much contrast for my taste. So I decided that gunmetal is a good choice for a black car. Less contrast but not too blacked out. That's why I ordered a gunmetal wheel for my BSM. I hope I like my choice when all is said and done.

I'd keep the stock wheels for winter and get something like CSLs for summer. Those could be hyperblack.
