Lakeside Trackday 8th October

Track days are great fun, i went out to Phillip Island again last Sunday, had a great time.

Kristian should be a bit quicker this time too......no comment....bwahahahaha

Got an email yesterday that advised that there were only about 4 or 5 spots left for this track day. If any of you still want to go and haven't already paid, now is the time. I hope to be breaking out an E46 M3 track car that I have purchased. If not I'll be trying to get into the 1:02's in the E30.....

Keen to go, but need to get home that arvo and then drive my ladyfriend up to Caloundra for the Powderfinger concert. Not sure I'll be able to time it right...

I don't think I can get the day off work, so I'll probably have to do a sprint session on a Saturday afternoon instead.

Yes, I'm all booked in. I think I was booked in the first day it was available.

See you there Craig. If you think you might do a couple more of these over the next 12 months I recommend that you pay a bit extra and get a 12 month clubman licence instead of the day licence. Definatley worth a thought.

Hey Craig, I had to give this one a miss due to other commitments. Also, I'm a bit weary of pushing my car hard out at Lakeside as I'm still learning to the boundaries of this car and gaining experience. Hopefully I can make it to the next one.

For all the comments requesting who's going and newbieism... all I can say is that mum let go of your hands a long time ago :P Get out there and into it... none of us bite and there is a first time for everything for everyone

This group is really welcoming and even to come out for a look would be good to get an idea of what goes on.

Yes, it'll be fun but there's something comforting about being able to drive your car undamaged to work on Monday....

Have fun today guys and girls, I wish I was able to be there!

I expect DSC and DCT will likely remain on for a lot of you given the damp track (I know I'd think twice about turning it off today).

Keep it rubber side down and out of the kitty litter. Remember, no lifting off the throttle from Hungry through the kink!

Track is wet, but drying slowly. Hopefully the rain will hold off for the afternoon. No records being broken, but we're having fun.
