Weird Park Distance Control Module
Hey guys, i attached some pictures here for reference. Basically, my PDC never worked since i purchased the car 6 months ago (08 135 with 82km). i went and pulled out the unit today and its doesnt look at all like the oem bmw unit. As you can see, its blue, says YTH on the top, no part number, no bmw logo. I cant find anything searching online, and id rather just replace this unit with the exact same, in order to use the same sensors and display. Anyone have any ideas? |

Something aftermarket. The BMW unit is either grey or black (I forget which).

You won't find much information on that here; It's pointless to keep bumping it. It's probably some no-name unit from eBay.

Yep, looks like some aftermarket gypsy brand. The BMW unit has the roundel and a part number embossed on the side of it.
What do your PDC sensors in your bumper look like ? Do you have a PDC switch ? Here's a pic of the PDC ECU that I grabbed off of interwebs...

Hey, thanks for the reply, it seems that each sensor runs back to the module, white connectors on the end where it plugs into the module, doesnt look like theres a switch in the circuit. The sensors them self look like your average parking sensor, white outer lip white circle in middle, ill grab a pic when it stops raining
