I agree with the comments on the bra, but isn't the appearance of one's car a personal matter to do with as one pleases?

Maybe the real issue is: Do we have too much time on our hands waiting for our E90s?

I know most of you are just kidding around, but come on let's not embarass RedFireBeemer too much!

I'm still hoping someone can post a Red/Terra foto...but what do you folks think about that combination? Below is the best I could come up with...

New to this post...loved our red 2004 E46 so much there was never any doubt that our new E90 would be the same color! I don't see many but after this message board I'll bet that changes :rocks:

I'm on it!...I'll have to wait for my sons on this...they're techno savy and can deal with the digital camera and downloading the pics. Sometimes I feel like there's a statute of limitations on techno knowledge...after the age of 20 you're not allowed to "know" anymore...the vcr remote comes to mind

I've seen a few red Miatas with brown interior & softtop...those I liked. Yeah, it's an oddball combo, hard to ever find any reallife fotos ahead of time. I'm waiting for a coupe, so plenty of time to stew over it!

someone told me - half-serious - that this color is just a big target for cops. I know that the color just calls for all kinds of attn but wanted to find out your own or your friends experiences

Yes, I had a 2001 330i bright red (that was the official color name at the time). Over two years I ended up with 3 tickets from cops just waiting for me (I had a radar detector also). Then a 2003 M3 silver grey. Two years, 0 tickets (and the M3 was not driven slower). We'll see with the new sapphire black 2006 330i.

nine4surfa, that color is absolutely awesome!!! I've never even thought of that combo, but it's amazing! That has to be THE rarest color combo that BMW will make with this model, and I'm sure that throughout your ownership you'll probably never see another e90 with this color combo. Congrats, it really is beautiful!!!

Not liking the red and Terra mixed, but I do like the red. I saw one in the dealership the other day and drove it around. Nice, but too much attention with the cops and all.
