I literally just spit beer on my laptop when I read that. Thanks.

But I always wondered...what are they gonna do about it at the emergency room, anyway?

135is owners and pre-made 135is clones should clearly not let friends post late at night on 2 hours of sleep. Thanks for seeing what I wrote, and editing and adding in that boner comment. =P

I think when you go to the emergency room, a homely nurse walks by naked, if that doesn't work, she sits on it. If that doesn't work, they drain the blood or cut it open along the side to relieve the blood.

Easier and cheaper to just buy new pants.

What do you mean clone. I was first, remember? And mine wasn't pre-made, I made it myself.

That is far too much detail.... I'm not even going to ask how you might know this.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled program.....

Meant pre-made as in prior to the official 135is. And clone cause it looks just like ours. Wasn't sure what descriptive title to use to refer to you. But hey, thanks for giving BMW the idea to make them as a final hoorah to the 135 and raid on whatever leftover performance parts they had.

Today on my way home, I actually saw my first VO 1M in person (have seen plenty of white and black ones, but never an orange). Wow, that VO is incredible -- especially in the bright sun.

Now I know why IEDEI had a near emergency room event of his own when he first saw his VO. Very nice!

Yes, I think he had an erection lasting more than 4 hours after seeing it. Or at least after buying it or test driving it.

Valencia orange on an X1 and now offered on a 228, but not an M235 is just WRONG! Should be an 1M specific color or at least M-only in my mind.

I had to settle for HP's 1M yesterday and its carbon fiber roof. =P

Whatever you call them, They're all great cars. When the "is" came out, I thought of buying a "is" badge and plastering it on the back of my car because my car looked so much like one. Then I thought, what a poser I'd be to do something like that. I'm proud of what I own and I display my 135i badge with pride. Thanks for the kind words.

There was one member who feebly attempted that maneuver and to pawn his off as an IS though it clearly wasn't, but had the badging. I guess next time he might want to do his homework and at least make sure he has a 2013 model and not a 2012. Shhhhhh. Don't want to say, otherwise he'll change that thing or things, though I could pretend it's a $5000 part and teach him a lesson.

Speaking of M235i, this month's Consumer Reports magazine tested the car and loved it -- it was rated 98 out of 100, one of their highest ratings ever. Now we all know CR is not a performance mag rag, so I'm quite surprised. They usually don't like or appreciate all the great things about BMWs. Hey, wait.... maybe this means that the M235i has really become more like a Honda Accord in the way it looks and handles and THAT's why CR loves it so much?? I could be onto something there....

Be careful though. For 2013, The tesla got a record score of 99, but what random car was #2?! The 135 with a score of 97 which shocked the hell out of me considering the 2-series was already announced and the 135 hadn't changed much since it was introduced in 2008. I'd like to think the 135is would get a 98 or 99 then. =) Maybe perfect 100 with the performance suspension.

I think, thanks to EvenEsteban, we may now have to refer to that suspension of yours as the VPS (Viagra Performance Suspension). Yes, you're welcome for that visual that those three words might bring

I said I THOUGHT of it and that was only for a split second. I hate it when somebody even puts an ///M on their car and it didn't come from the factory with it. Anybody who loves BMW's knows that's blasphemy and may the Car Gods forgive me for my impure thought.

CR's "road test rating' scores clearly use different evaluation criteria between the various car segments, and they don't use the same evaluation criteria that an enthusiast would value in a car. Having said that, they usually are able to identify cars that are loud, buzzy, cheap, have poor brakes, poor controls, etc. So I admit to being a long-time subscriber, and it just so happens that the last 3 cars I've driven rank at the top of CR's ratings. Does this mean I subscribe to their rankings? No, and there are a ton of cars at the top of CR's rankings that I would never drive, much less own. But it this tells me that from a macro level, CR's results indicate a trend that can be used as one possible indicator when comparing cars within a given segment.

In a word...aaaaaamaaaaazing. Can't recommend it enough. Also, in case it was unclear or not mentioned before, the kit also includes a stiffer front sway bar, too, not just shocks and springs. Feels like a proper, sorted sports car now. Downside is, it inspires so much more confidence than the sloppy, squirrely stock suspension, that you then will want to push it even further and drive it much faster.
