What are the differences between these M door sills
what's up guys, i was browsing realoem.com to get the part #'s for some M door sills and i see that there are 2 versions of them...http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...51&hg=51&fg=55
1. For vehicles with: M Sports package & Chrome Line exterieur (second to last #3 in parts list) 2. For vehicles with: M Sports package & No Chrome Line exterieur (last #3 in parts list) i'm guessing #2 is for cars with shadowline trim?? |

From what I see there's
Cover for Door Sill (the third to last set of #3's) Part numbers 51477180739 & 51477180740, price $34.71 For vehicles with M Sport, but with chrome exterior (??) which is weird. The name doesn't specify it as an M trim piece though, which is also weird Then there's M Trim Piece (the second to last set of #3's) Part Numbers 51478045291 & 51478045292, price $35.33 Which is for M Sport Package and No chrome exterior Then there's the EXACT same thing duplicated (the last set of #3's), same price, and same part numbers (51478045291 & 51478045292, price $35.33). So they just duplicated it by mistake? RealOEM does this sometimes. I noticed they also did it on a couple pieces when I was looking up headlight parts, intake parks, and exhaust parts. They're a little sloppy i guess.. But same part # = Exact same Piece. Hope this helps
