Pic request: clearbra on your white 1

I am considering putting a clearbra on the hood/bumper/mirrors of my white 128i. However, the shop showed me a white truck with one on, and its not as invisible as in other colors. They said white is difficult because the clear film is not completely invisible and its not white either so you can see it.

If you have pics of your 1 with a clearbra on the front, could you please post them? Trying to decided if I am going to put it on or not.

Thanks in advance.

I was thinking about about getting a clear bra but in a few years maybe more than a few wouldnt the other paint fade while the other (under the clear bra) not fade?

Maybe Im wrong but it would be interesting to find out about the long run use of the 3M Clear Bra

That looks fantastic! I can't even tell its there. Is that 3M film? I want to make sure my installer is using the same film.

I have a clearbra installed on my Alpine White. The brand is called "Invisi-Shield" and has a 5 year warranty. It is crystal clear (there are some pics in my profile). But I have seen some clearbras that turned yellow.

Hello....am a "newguy" on this forum ...just got a 135 on Friday! .... Traded the Mini Cooper S ... looking forward to learning from you folks .... Regarding the Invisi-Shield -- I've used the product on all my cars for the past 10 years! -- and absolutely swear by it! -- LOTS of Interstate Driving for me --30-40 thousand per year -- and its NEVER given me any trouble -- I've had it on a Silver S2000, Pearl Volvo, Green Mustang Bullit, Silver Cooper, Silver Nissan 350Z (caught in Arizona sand storm in this one) and my Red Ford Pickup. No fading, no curling, and been practically invisable on my cars -- I'm having the 135 done this week -- including head lights, mirrors, and bottoms of rear quarter panels. Great product!

Try to find VentureShield Clear Bra (whole front bumper, partial hood, partial fenders, side mirrors, door openers, head light lenses) on Alpine White.

I got VentureShield on my AW 135i as well, and it is VERY hard to locate. The installer installs a few different products (3M, VentureShield, etc.), depending on the color. For white, he said VentureShield is best. I will post my pictures when I get home! IT IS WELL WORTH IT.

Wish I had seen that place before I did mine. They look top notch! I did put mine on and it looks pretty good, although not like theirs.
